The best step up from PLA. Handles impact, moisture, and moderate heat. Great for functional parts, outdoor clips, and anything that needs to last.
ABS
AdvancedAcrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
What LEGO bricks are made of. Handles temperatures up to ~100°C, takes impact, and can be acetone-smoothed to a professional finish. Requires an enclosure.
TPU
IntermediateThermoplastic Polyurethane
Bends, stretches, and bounces back. Perfect for phone cases, gaskets, grips, shoe insoles, and any part that needs to flex or absorb impact.

What filament should a beginner use?
PLA is the right choice for most beginners. It's the easiest to print — no enclosure needed, low temperatures, and minimal warping. Forgely Performance PLA is made in Utah and comes in 30+ colors.
Do you carry specialty filaments like wood, metal, or glow-in-the-dark?

Can you recommend a filament for outdoor printing?
For outdoor Utah conditions, PETG handles moisture and UV reasonably well short-term. For longer outdoor life or high-heat environments, ASA or ABS is better. TPU is a good choice for flexible outdoor parts. Our team can walk you through options in person.
