We repair all major brands including Bambu Lab (X1C, P1S, A1, mini), Creality (Ender 3, CR-10, K1, K2), Prusa (MK4, Mini, XL), Anycubic, FlashForge, Elegoo, Voron, Sovol, and more. If your brand isn't listed, call us at 385-449-2694 — we probably still support it.

How much does 3D printer repair cost?

Repair is billed at a flat $45/hour with no tiers. The first 15 minutes is a diagnostic included in the first hour. After the diagnostic we call you with a parts quote — nothing proceeds until you approve. If a repair goes beyond one hour, we call again before continuing. Parts are billed separately at cost.

How long does a printer repair take?

Most standard repairs are completed within 3–5 business days. Complex repairs requiring ordered parts may take 7–10 days. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when you drop off and will call or email you when it's ready.

Do I need to bring anything with my printer?

Accepted Answer

Bring the printer and its power cable. If you have a specific spool of filament that's causing issues, bring that too. The more details you can share about the problem, the faster we can diagnose it.

Do you repair resin (MSLA/SLA) printers?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We service Elegoo, Anycubic, and other resin printers. Resin machine repairs typically include LCD screen replacement, FEP film replacement, Z-axis calibration, and resin vat cleaning.

Absolutely. If a repair is going to exceed the initial estimate, we'll contact you first for approval. We never do work you didn't authorize.

Forgely Performance PLA is our house-brand filament manufactured right here in Utah. It features ±0.02mm diameter tolerance (tighter than most brands), 30+ colors, and is optimized for FDM printers running at 190–220°C. It's Made in the USA and priced competitively because we cut out the middleman.

Yes! This is one of the biggest advantages of shopping in-store. You can see actual printed color swatches and rolls in person rather than guessing from an online photo. Our team can also print a small test swatch on request.

What filament should I use as a beginner?

PLA is the best starting material — it prints at low temperatures (190–220°C), doesn't require a heated bed (though one helps), and is forgiving on most printers. My 3D printer has a clogged nozzle — what do I do?

Accepted Answer

Start with a cold pull (atomic pull): heat to printing temp, push fresh filament through by hand, then slowly cool to 90°C while maintaining pressure, and pull the filament out firmly. The clog should come out embedded in the filament tip. Repeat 2–3 times. If that doesn't work, try a 0.35mm acupuncture needle at printing temp. Still stuck? Bring it in — nozzle and hotend repairs are some of our most common jobs, usually same-day or next-day at $45/hr.

My prints are warping off the bed — how do I fix it?

Warping usually has three causes: (1) bed not level or first layer too far — run auto-leveling and adjust Z-offset, (2) bed temp too low — PLA needs 50–60°C, PETG needs 70–85°C, ABS needs 90–110°C, (3) draft or airflow hitting the print — enclose or shield the printer. Using a glue stick or PEI surface also helps significantly. If the problem persists, bring it in for a calibration check.

Why is there stringing/hair between parts of my print?

Stringing is caused by molten plastic oozing during travel moves. Fix it by: (1) increasing retraction distance (try 1mm increments, start at 5mm for Bowden), (2) lowering print temperature by 5°C, (3) enabling combing in your slicer (avoids travel over open space). If using a Bambu Lab printer, the pre-set profiles handle most of this — try the "textured" profile for improved stringing reduction.

My Bambu Lab printer is showing an error code — can you help?

Yes! Bambu Lab error codes can indicate anything from a jammed filament to a hotend or sensor issue. Common ones we see: HMS_0700_0300_0001_0003 (filament clog), HMS_0C00_0200_0001_0007 (AMS issue), and various hot-end temperature errors. How do I know if I need to replace my printer or just repair it?

Most 3D printer repairs are worth doing — a $45–90 repair on a $300–500 printer is almost always better than replacing it. We'll give you an honest assessment. If the frame is bent, the mainboard is fried, or the parts cost more than the printer's value, we'll tell you. We're not going to upsell you on a repair that doesn't make sense.
